We Purchased this television to replace a Vizio Plasma television and have been impressed by the Much better PICTURE. I keep this television in a room with 6 recessed lights and four huge windows producing tremendous glare plus the picture clarity/brightness is nonetheless excellent. The remote and television operation is uncomplicated and intuitive. My DVD player works properly on HDMI connection but I've concerns with the composite AV connection making a background humming noise when connected to our Directv receiver. Even right after getting a new Composite cable, the sound returned but corrected when I attached my Directv towards the antenna/DTV connector instead. I can not determine if the challenge is using the tv or the cables or the Directv receiver (it truly is not HD). I suspect that if I had a HD receiver and utilised a HDMI connection the situation could be solved. (More...)
