I purchased this television as a pc monitor. I wanted it because of the LCD backlight, built in speakers, and huge screen, for a laptop or computer monitor. When I purchased it my pc had not yet been built so I hooked it up to my cable box and WOW what a fantastic image! Granted I was coming from an old CRT tv but hey this thing was really impressive! It's quite customizable and could be set on preset settings also. It worked excellent to replace a 1981 circa Magnavox in my bedroom. I employed it for a couple of weeks as a tv and when my personal computer came in I switched it to a personal computer monitor. (More Detail...)
